The Wrath of a Bad Contractor

These types of contractors are the ones that give all the rest a bad name. I think if more people would stand up to bad contractors and bad companies the world would be a much better place.

This is the story of a guy who hired his friend – a contractor – to do some landscaping for him. To make the story short the contractor screwed his friend and now it is going to court. The bets part about it though is that the guy who got screwed posted the entire story on the internet @ jondrewniak.com (the guy’s name is Jon Drewniak).

I would watch out for this guy if you are in the Assonet/Auburn, MA area.

Hot Tubs- Review Website

If you are looking to buy a hot tub for your home check this out. I found this hot tub reviews website. They have a list of different hot tub models. It’s free info.

You can also give a review on a tube you’ve purchased. Regular people like you and I are the ones that post the reviews. I think this is great. What better way to find out about a product then someone that is using it?

Anyways, I just thought this could be a useful tool. The only thing I would change about the site is the lack of pictures. I am very visual and I need to see things.

But it does give good info about different hot tubs.

Good Priced Kitchen Appliances Web Site

Hey there. Elsy has been doing the majority of the posts here but I wanted to chime in and let you know that I am still around.

Anyway, I came across this web site that has really good priced Black and Decker kitchen appliances. It is called ekitchengadgets.com.

See I am a big fan of Black and Decker ever since I found one of their outlet stores when I lived in California. There I was able to find tools and other B & D goodies for half off what you would see in the store. That store closed after a while and was left hanging.

Now that we are in Texas there is a B & D store here but it is over 1 1/2 hours away so I have only been there once. With that I am happy that I found this online store where now I can get my waffle maker at a good price ;-) .

You should check them out.

The Search for Room Designs Continues

In my search of room Designs, I have come across many different styles of home Decor and Ideas: I have seen Italian, Asian Home, Cabin, Log Homes, Adobe Homes, Brick Homes, Metal Homes, and some weird wood, plastic? homes?.

Anyways there are many ideas and styles, colors for decor. Money and time is the issue now. Having 3 little ones is not as easy as one would think. Between feeding times, nap times, play time, 2nd nap times, bath time; well there isn’t much time for other things.

But with patience I continue the search for room designs for our HOME.

The Masters House!

Digital Camera Reviews

I found a website for digital camera reviews. I think that this is a great tool when you are looking to buy a camera. You can see what other people have to say about the camera you are wanting to buy before you buy.

Great idea!

I still have information about the camera I already have. I am still learning how to use it. But when I get better, I know what I will be buying.

I Love My House

I am so happy with the house that we bought. D.R Horton Homes are the best. You get quality homes and good incentives. I remember being at the apartment, and even though it was nice it was not my HOME.

Even El Monte did not feel like home once we decided we were moving to Texas. I remember looking for Moving Companies and being so exited because I knew I was going to move to my new home very soon.

Happy because we moved when we did.

I am so satisfied with our house, the neighborhood and our City. Things could not be better!

The Agent to Talk to For Jersey Shore Real Estate

Now that we are in Texas there is the whole other half of the country that is opening up for us. Our neighbors are from Florida and I am seeing more and more license plates from other states as I drive to and from work. It seems that a lot of people are coming to Texas from other states.

With their coming comes stories about distant lands that we never knew existed.

My Kitchen, Italian Style Decor

vine.jpg

One thing I know for sure when it comes to decorating, My kitchen is going to have an Italian style. I already have grape vines on top of the counters and wine bottles along the top as well. But I know I need more things to add to it to make it into what I want: Italian Style Kitchen.

In my research for pictures and ideas I found a website that specializes in getting people from the food and wine industry to post their events on the Wine and Food events calendar, worldwide by city.

I guess they are very big and have been around for 6 years providing retailers, restaurants, vineyards, wholesalers, or anyone else involved in the food and wine industry to post information about upcoming events at NO CHARGE with a link back to their own website for more information.

I think this is really nice since it’s FREE for those businesses. I found a few in the Austin Area. They have a really good reputation according to NY Times, Wall St. Journal and US News and World Report.

Informal Wedding Invitations – A Good Break from the Normal Invitation

I came across this web site for casual wedding invitations that are a little different then your average invitations that you see at a Hallmark or other card shop. What is different about them is that they honestly seem more festive then your average invitation.

These informal wedding invitations remind me more of the type that my wife and I would get for one of our kid’s birthday. They have one that is a little chair like you would see pool side. I think casual wedding invitations are better because they can be more of a true representation of a couples personalities.

If you are getting married or know someone who is I suggest checking them out.
