The Masters House

We found Cool Looking table and chairs for very cheap at Ikea in Houston last time we went there. We bought two sets; one for Genesis and the other for Mikeys’ room. They are so cute. I also bought little sit covers shaped like a flower to go with the theme in Genesis room.

I plan to paint flowers on the top of Genesis table. Maybe Dan will paint checkers on Mikey’s table or chairs, not sure.

When we moved into our house we were fortunate enough to have the mini blinds as an insentive that came with the house. For anyone that has moved into a new house you know what a pain it can be to shell out the cash and then have to put blinds up in the whole house.

Well as cool as that was the blinds are already getting thrashed by the kids. One of the reasons why is because they are not the best quality blinds to begin with. Therefore I have been on the lookout for new ones.

Before I had gotten my blinds from either Home Depot or from Lowes. Neither of these places have anything but your generic pre-sized blinds. If you want something out of the ordinary you have to special order it and pay a premium. Read the rest of this entry »
