I am thinking of joining a DVD Club. I have been getting advertisement in the mail about different ones. I found the William Shatner DVD Club. The William Shatner DVD-of-the-Month Club selects a great underground sci-fi movie each month. They have the following movies which is the reason why I want to join them:

• Immortal : The year is 2095 and the ancient Egyptian gods have returned to Earth to cast judgment on the falcon-headed god Horus in this epic fantasy from comic-book creator Enki Bilal. Given only one week by the gods to preserve his immortality, Horus must search New York City and find both a human host whose body he will inhabit and a willing mate to continue his legacy. As the enormous pyramid of the gods looms ominously over Manhattan, a beautiful and mysterious young woman named Jill wanders the streets in search of her true identity.
  
• it2i2: As the number of connections between computers on the Internet approaches the number of connections between neurons in the human brain, something really big could happen! it2i2 – “It thinks, therefore it is” – explores this concept through a documentary that follows a BBC reporters search for truth surrounding an artificial intelligence’s inhabitation of the vast landscape of the World Wide Web. Reporter Robert Llewellyn must navigate a maze of rumors, secretive techno-heads, government officials and corporate suits to discover the truth behind this growing mystery.
• VIRUS: A virus has been developed that gets loose and starts to destroy humanity on a grand scale. The only people who are remotely safe are a group of eight hundred men and eight women on Antarctica. Since the President of the United States warns them by radio communications not to accept anyone into their area who has been contaminated, the men and women are somewhat prepared. That does not mean they are ready to handle the crew of a Russian submarine that seeks refuge with them. The second disaster is nuclear, and part of the suspense lies in whether or not it will be ultimately averted — and who, if any, will survive all this…
• Close Your Eyes: While treating a policewoman for smoking, hypnotherapist Michael Strother has a telepathic vision of a young girl floating beneath the surface of a stream. The escaped victim of a ritualistic serial killer, the girl has become mute, and Michael is called upon by Scotland Yard to unlock the secrets she holds in order to catch a man who believes he has discovered the key to immortality.

These are all sci-fi movies and they sound really good. Dan is not too much into Sci-Fi movies but I think he may like these ones.
